I got my business cards today! [Sep. 23rd, 2008|10:36 pm]
Just me.

Now it's been 9 weeks on the job and in this apt. Still hard to believe. Still liking it.

House was officially warmed Sunday. now we can go back to leaving piles of laundry on the floor.

Paul is away for the week on a business trip. His cat is sitting in the hallway by the door, waiting for him to come home, and ignoring me. It's both cute and pathetic at the same time.

What decadent stuff am I going to get up to with Paul gone? I'll give you a hint: it involves something I've TiVoed* for the last 3 weeks that Paul won't touch with a ten-foot pole that starts with a 9 and ends with a 210. Yes, I am too old for this shit. No, I don't care.

*although I actually have a non-Tivo recorder, I think "Tivoed" will join the ranks of "xeroxed" and "googled" in our lexicon, eg can be used with a generic application that does the same work as the eponymous verb.

We've used both non-Tivo and Tivo, and I think the non-Tivo was better overall.

You better watch out that the mean ol' Xerox doesn't come knocking on your door demanding that you put the appropriate marks next to their name if you want to use it as a generic verb like a certain company down from the Fremont Troll who produces Adobe® Photoshop®

Hey, thanks for the warming invite. Sorry I missed it. Duty (pet sitting) called.
