first, read these. they aren't too long, but otherwise, the joke doesn't make sense.
Now read today's Traffic Circle update:
I may or may not be behind this, but let's just say I have my own thoughts about who's really responsible:
Here's a crappy night photo before the monitor was placed correctly:
I'll let you know how long it stays up before someone removes it as trash.
Is this a cat litter box, or "merely" a cat domicile unit?

She's just checking it out, since it fits the "it's box-like and I can climb in it" requirements for cat amusement.

Won't is WAAAY too law-abiding to be behind something like this.
That's Won't in the above usericon.
I should have know!! Shocky, how could you?! But more importantly, how did you get the monitor there???
Too funny, I'd been following that story, and saw the Seattly Cacophany (sp?) on there! I knew you and you know who were both big in that group.
I thought about dropping my blue and white mac monitor there.

Yeah, since anyone can be/is in Cacophony, it seemed a logical attribution/blame.
This is one of the first things like this I've done in ages without YKW's involvement/collaboration. It felt kinda foreign, but good.
I'm sure YKW will immediately know who's responsible if he reads either the Slog or my posting to the cacophony list, since those are the very tires I asked him to take away when he came to pick up the camper. Guess its a good thing he didn't! That monitor shell is also something he painted -3 years ago- when he was making the boat planter. He decided not to use the monitor and it's been under my porch ever since.
Funny how all the supplies just came together like that...

Everything works out for a reason, so they say!
Did you have a collaborator, or was it just you and Shocky? I tell ya, it looked like loads of fun. I want to do shit like that!!!!
When are you gonna be around tonight? I was going to call you last night, but got hung up in this looooong Hindi film.

working til 9, gym at 10, home by 11. You can call if you're up late- I gotta pack for SF and do laundry and get to bed by 1am.
No collaborator- all my idea, preparation, and execution. Though I did bring Sylvie along as moral support/lookout in case the cops were cruising about and saw me with my shovel. heh.
you are the most awesome person ever.
You're the new buzz
in the seattle LJ community, too. (By "you" I naturally meant Shockie. It's amazing what cats can manage despite the lack of opposable thumbs.)

where you living these days?
I'm about to run off to SF for a week and a half, but we should grab a drink at some point. are you still in seattle?

Re: where you living these days?
Yes'm. I'm living in Jackson Park (between Lake City and Shoreline) but I work at a bar in Magnolia. So either locale would be a good jumping off point. Also, if you email me (tawnyarocks at gmail.com) I could send you my number which would make things considerably easier for planning.
