Just me.
(inspired by das_prompt's recent post)

Many subcultures are baffling and/or inspire derision (Anime otokus, goths, furries, etc), but any subculture that all members outgrow before 30 or that has no members over 30 is probably actually indefensibly stupid. The only ones that come to mind so far are 1) rabid screaming fans of boy bands 2) Juggalos.

Any others? Anyone wanna offer a spirited defense of Juggalo culture?

Heh, I have no decent defense of Juggalos, except to say that I do get a sick pleasure from seeing any super-ridiculous group walking through the mall or down the street. It's the same sort of feeling I've heard expressed about people like Eminem, Marylin Manson or even Ozzy in his day: I'm not into them, but I'm glad they're around pissing off old fuddy-duddies.

As far as the over 30 thing goes, I'm not sure so sure about that. I don't know many over 30 skaters, but I know plenty of over 30 goths. I'd still put skaters a couple rungs up over goths on my personal cool chart.

Also, I think screaming fans of boy bands has more to do with hormones than it does with subcultures. I've certainly seen rabid screamers at Cure and Depeche Mode shows.
