this year's 4/1 freecycle prank:

Last year, I offered a free DVD rewinder on my local freecycle group on April 1. Here is this year's (possibly more esoteric) offer:


[freecycleseattle] OFFER: freebird (West Seattle)

Well used freebird; still has many concerts left in it. Note: this bird cannot be changed.


Got 4 responses, 2 who got the joke and chuckled, one "What kind of bird?" and one "Is it a recording of Freebird?". With last year's DVD rewinder, only one person sent a serious "I would like to pick this up" enquiry.
