Thing is, these are often pretty good- a lot of money and whimsy went into creating some of these things. A late 90's CD bootleg compilation called "Product Music" is the easiest way to acquaint yourself with the genre (unless your grandad worked for JCPenney or Chromalux in the sales department) There's a pretty good article/overview about the Industrial musical here.
anyway, I am now the proud owner of GE's Got to investigate silicones. No I can't rip any MP3s for you, but googling that phrase seems to result in only relevant hits (until some smart ass names their blog "Got to investigate silicones", I mean).
Saw "Bubba Ho-tep" tonight. good, but not the campfest I was expecting. DVD silliness: as well as getting a standard commentary from the director and Bruce Campbell, you can also get a commentary from "The King"- aka Bruce Campbell freestyling as Elvis while eating from a bag of chips (I'm guessing the last part from the unexplained background sounds I heard).
