two (sorta) political things

1) Strom Thurmond, 98 years old, has a 29 year-old-son. this means that a woman of childbearing age (lets say 40 or under) got busy with Strom Senior when he was 68. YUCK! Like William S. Burroughs, I imagine that he is a man who NEVER looked young.

2) Pretty funny; reminds me of that whole hanging chad thing.

from :

-Spartanburg Mayor James Talley was leading in the vote for a third term against literally everyone else in town. He botched the petition to get his name on the ballot, meaning the election depended entirely on write-in votes. Any of the city's 23,000 registered voters could win, and officials said counting the write-in votes would take time.
