for your convenience, this post has 2 levels of detail. First, the Cliff notes/Ernest Hemingway version:
Last night was Cross dress bowling. Ivan wore his wedding dress that he also wore at Brides of March. I did not find that unusual. After Bowling was the trophy/Award ceremony in the Karaoke lounge at the Bowling Alley. Trophies for best costumes were awarded. I won a trophy. People sang. Ivan called me up to stand near him while he sang "Strangers in the Night". I did find that unusual.
After he sang to me, he got down on one knee, gave me a Archie Mcphee-style plastic oversized "diamond" ring and asked me to marry him. I said yes. The wedding will be in June 2004 at the Fremont Fair/Art Car Blowout. I am deliriously happy.
Oh yeah, I got the keys to the house today. I am a homeowner now.
And the long version:
Hmm, Since the movers will be here at 8:30 tomorrow, I should really be packing instead of typing. I'll finish this entry Wednesday at work.
And no, this is not a prank.
And I'm not pregnant.
