then MSNBC called and did an article on the cd settlement. then the local tv people put me on the news on tuesday. then the Seattle PI interviewed me and sent a photographer yesterday for this story: http://seattlepi.nwsource.com/local/179304_cdupdate24.html . The important thing you can't tell from the online ed is that
I am on the FRONT PAGE of today's paper ABOVE THE FOLD. In color, even!
Now I've talked to the Associated Press, who is also sending a photographer, and KOMO-TV called this morning.
the lesson here is NEVER doubt that something you post in a blog can actually draw attention to an issue, and that it might be seen by "real" media, and might actually make an impact somehow. Or at least give you clippings to send to your mom. |
